I remember when I was much younger and I got to thinking about all those cool toys in 70's and early 80's we all used to ask for for our birthdays and Christmas. They just don't make toys like that anymore. So I thought I would list the my top 5 that I had. First off my Stretch Armstrong and Stretch Monster. Used to make them battle and always wondered what was inside them. What I wouldn't give to have these back.
I can tell ya what was in the Stretch Monster. It was gooey and purple. LOL Somehow mine was punctured or ripped. The toys of those days were cool. I probably got a lot second hand, but still. Along with this guy, I loved my huge Shogun Warrior and Godzilla figures. I also remember a Mego Batman figure with magnets on his hands and feet. I played the hell outta that thing.
ReplyDeleteYeah I had the Shogun Warrior and Godzilla. Ill be talking about the Godzilla later on. I remember my friends telling me if you punctured the stretch or the monster you could put tape over it and it would go back together. Didn't work though. LOL
